Synopsis
On the occation of her mothers birthday party ANNE returns to her home village. Her two sisters are still living there: the older sister IRIS lives together with her mother in a kind of “hit me – kiss me“ flat-sharing community and the youngest sister MARIANNE lives close to them with her own small family.
Anne, the rebel and adventurer roughs up the party preparations. She falls in love with the husband of her youngest sister and leaves the whole responsibility of the upcoming party to her older sister Iris. Therefore, the party preparations are constantly interrupted because of smaller and bigger interpersonal catastrophies. Because of the absurd comedy as well as tragedy of life the birthday party passes by completely different from being planned – the events are overturning and the three sisters have to start all over again.
